Vorthon Games ("we," "us," or "our") operates the mobile game Dominia: Grand Strategy (the "Game") for Android and iOS devices. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and protect it, and your rights regarding your data.

By downloading, installing, or using the Game, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Game.

2. How We Use Your Information

Game Functionality: Save/load your progress, sync across devices via cloud save, display your name on leaderboards.
Game Improvement: Analytics help us understand which features players enjoy, identify balance issues, and prioritize updates.
Technical Stability: Crash reports help us identify and fix bugs quickly.
Purchase Processing: Verify in-app purchases and deliver purchased items (e.g., Seal currency packs).
Communication: Respond to support requests you initiate.

We do NOT use your data for:
Advertising or ad targeting — Dominia contains no ads
Selling or renting to third parties
Profiling for purposes unrelated to the Game
Automated decision-making that affects you

We do not use any advertising SDKs, social media SDKs, or third-party tracking services beyond those listed above.

4. Data Storage and Security

Local Storage: Game saves are stored on your device in the app's private storage directory. Other apps cannot access this data.
Cloud Storage: Cloud saves and profile data are stored in Firebase Firestore, hosted on Google Cloud infrastructure with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest.
Retention: Your data is retained as long as your account exists. If you delete the Game without requesting data deletion, your cloud data remains for 12 months and is then automatically purged.
Security: We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission, authenticated API access, and Firebase security rules that restrict data access to authorized users only.

5. In-App Purchases

Dominia offers optional in-app purchases for virtual currency ("Seals") and cosmetic items. All payment processing is handled entirely by Google Play (Android) or Apple App Store (iOS). We never receive, store, or have access to your payment information, credit card details, or billing address.

Purchase history is recorded locally and via the respective app store's purchase verification system to deliver purchased items and support purchase restoration.

6. AI-Powered Features (Sibyla Chat)

Dominia includes an AI-powered conversational feature ("Sibyla Chat") that uses Anthropic's Claude AI service. When you use Sibyla Chat:

Your in-game context (civilization, current game state, relationship level) is sent to the AI service to generate contextual responses.
Your chat messages are processed by Anthropic's API and are not stored by Anthropic beyond the immediate processing of your request (zero data retention policy).
Chat history within a session is maintained locally on your device and is not permanently stored on our servers.
No personal information (name, device ID, location) is sent to the AI service — only in-game context and your message text.

Sibyla Chat Content Disclosure: Sibyla is an AI game character. All responses are AI-generated and should not be considered real advice. The game is rated 17+ and Sibyla's dialogue may include mildly suggestive themes appropriate for this age rating.

7. Children's Privacy

Dominia is rated 17+ and is not intended for children under the age of 17. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or the applicable minimum age in your jurisdiction).

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at privacy@vorthongames.com and we will promptly delete such information.

We comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) and similar regulations worldwide.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:

8.1 Account Deletion

You can request complete deletion of your account and all associated data (cloud saves, profile, leaderboard entries) by:

Using the "Delete Account" option in the Game's Settings menu, or
Emailing privacy@vorthongames.com with your anonymous User ID

Upon deletion request, all server-side data will be permanently deleted within 30 days. Local device data is removed when you uninstall the Game.

9. International Data Transfers

Our third-party services (Firebase, Google Cloud) may process data in countries outside your country of residence, including the United States. These transfers are protected by:

Google's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) for EU/EEA data transfers
Compliance with applicable data protection laws in the destination country

10. Region-Specific Disclosures

10.1 European Economic Area (GDPR)

If you are in the EEA, our legal bases for processing your data are:

Contract Performance: Processing necessary to provide the Game (saves, purchases, leaderboards)
Legitimate Interest: Analytics and crash reporting to improve the Game
Consent: Optional features (profile photo, Sibyla Chat)

10.2 California (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident:

You have the right to know, delete, and opt out of sale (though we do not sell data)

10.3 Brazil (LGPD)

13. Push Notifications

Dominia may send push notifications for game events, updates, or promotional content. You can disable push notifications at any time through your device settings. We use Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for notification delivery. Push notification tokens are stored on our server and deleted when you disable notifications or delete your account.

14. Leaderboards and Public Information

If you participate in leaderboards, the following information is visible to other players:

Your display name (chosen by you)
Your profile photo (if set)
Your Battle Power (BP) score
Your civilization and current game statistics

You can change your display name in Settings. If you do not set a profile photo, a default game icon is shown. You can opt out of leaderboards by contacting us.

15. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or legal requirements. When we make material changes:

We will update the "Last Updated" date at the top
We will notify you via in-app notification for significant changes
Continued use of the Game after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy
